يهدف البرنامج إلى مساعدة المختبرات الطبية في تحسين جودة نتائج التحاليل المخبرية وتحقيق التقارب وتقليل الفوارق لنتائج الفحوصات المخبرية بين مختلف المختبرات الطبية. وكذلك المساعدة في إستكمال متطلبات إعتماد المختبرات من قبل برامج الاعتماد المحلية والدولية.
