Please find enclosed a stabilized whole blood sample number (xxx) tested negative for hepatitis and HIV

Procedures

Handling instructions: Following these simple instructions will ensure accurate EQAS results are obtained and the life of the control is extended.

Specimen Type

Whole blood (EDTA).

Specimen Storage

Whole blood specimens must be stored at 2–8°C.

Intended use:

EQAS HbA1c Control sample is intended for use as a quality control HbA1c to monitor the accuracy of HbA1c test procedures for the analytes present in tested sample.

Specimen Preparation

Allow EQAS sample tubes to reach room temperature (15–30 °C) before performing the assay with mixing for 10-15 min.

No sample preparation is required.

Controls must be treated the same way as patient samples. Please refer to the package insert of the reagent HbA1c at your Kit
